The second annual Hidden Gold Rush 5K will be held in Washington-Wilkes County this Saturday, November 3, registration starting at 7:00am and the race at 8:00am. Entrance in the run is $20.
Come join us for the 2nd Annual Historic Washington Hidden Gold Rush. Come find more about the lost gold!! The race will begin at the Wilkes County Courthouse and runs through beautiful historic Washington, GA. Course is relatively flat with a few rolling hills. Enjoy the beautiful historic antebellum homes along the route! The race benefits the Washington Optimist Club, which provides support to local youth including scholarships to graduating seniors.

This event is part of the 2012 Black Bag Race Series Run and See Grand Prix Series.
Additional Information
Awards will be presented to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top three M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 70 and over. The entire course will be run on paved streets. Finish line timing and results provided by Classic Race Services with complete results posted online at www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com, and www.coolrunning.com. Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 7:00 AM.
